Get rapid alerts for significant heart rate changes due to conditions such as Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), tachycardia, exercise, or other activities.

Key Features:

 <li>Haptic alerts based on custom threshold levels.</li>
 <li>Customizable upper and lower threshold levels for current heart rate and difference from recent average.</li>
 <li>Main display shows: current heart rate, moving average of recent heart rate, and delta of current heart rate to average.</li>
 <li>Display colors change to indicate severity of alert.</li>
 <li>App tracks alert events with start time, event duration, starting average heart rate, and maximum or minimum heart rate during event.</li>
 <li>Detailed heart rate chart available for each event.</li>
 <li>Triple tap to temporarily silence alerts.</li>
 <li>Share event info by text or email directly from your watch.</li>
 <li>Review detailed monitoring data on the companion iPhone app.</li>

TachyMon was developed by the creator to assist his niece, Alex, who was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) in the fall of 2021. POTS is becoming increasingly common, particularly among young women. POTS sufferers often experience fatigue, brain fog, rapid heart rate increases, and other symptoms. Alex frequently experienced fainting (syncope), which seemed to be triggered by rapid increases in her heart rate or when her heart rate surpassed a specific threshold (in her case, 150 BPM). Alex finds that the TachyMon alerts help her take necessary precautions when her heart rate is elevated, allowing her to prevent fainting and regain some control over her POTS symptoms.

TachyMon is a straightforward, specialized app that may also benefit others with POTS or individuals who require heart rate monitoring in similar scenarios.

Integration with Apple Health:
TachyMon seamlessly integrates with the Apple Health app, storing workout data, including heart rate information.
